Alongside our suite of training, we provide each Pioneers appointed worker with a mentor to walk with you on the preparation pathway.
The Mission Formation Journey mentoring program is designed as a one-on-one mentoring relationship between an individual going to the field and a mentor with field experience. Throughout the journey we hope space is held for the Holy Spirit, mentor and mentee to pray together, meditate on scripture, process life on the journey toward missions and reflect on topics that will directly impact your life and ministry as a cross-cultural worker.
This integral, relational part of our pre-field training accompanies our event-based training as a source of encouragement and place of reflection. This realtionship is developed over the course of 6-12 months.
GDM is an expression of Pioneers Discipleship Training Communities (DTC). DTCs focus on growing and releasing well-formed disciple-makers into the global Pioneers family through hands-on mission and mentoring, within life-on-life, intercultural teams.
