Today, dear Lord, we bring before you the nation of Bangladesh. We know that they struggle with extreme poverty and that this affects most Bangladeshis every day. We pray for the leaders of the country, that they would lead with courage, integrity and wisdom and bring about changes that improve life for the common people. We pray Lord for those working in the textile industries, making many of the clothes enjoyed by rich nations like Australia. We ask that their working conditions and wages would be improved so that they can provide for their families without risk to their health and wellbeing. Protect believers and give them opportunities to share their faith so that your grace might move across their land. Amen
