Praise God for the large and faithful church in Ethiopia. Thank Him for the strong roots that this church has and the ancient legacy of Christian faith in the nation. Lament for the 2.2million people who have been displaced in the Tigray province in the last few months due to clashes between government and rebel forces. Ask that the Prince of Peace would bring justice and restoration to this region and that he would bring relief to the suffering of these people. Pray for our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted. Pray that God would give them strength, love and grace and that their response to persecution would bear witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ.
