Remote tribes of the Peruvian Amazon and our Peru Amazon Team
There are 33 unreached people groups in the Peruvian Amazon. The team are recruiting new teammates to join the movement to bring the Gospel into the deepest parts of the remote Amazon jungle. The Amazon Net Team recruits, trains and launches missionary teams into the unreached parts of the Peruvian Amazon doing contextualized church planting using life-on-life discipleship strategies.
Tribal work typically means spending lots of time in tribal communities, sleeping in huts, tents, hammocks and traveling in motorized canoes, boats and planes, and living off of the land. This is “ends of the earth” ministry, where pockets of forgotten people who speak forgotten languages still live and they deserve a chance to hear the greatest news on the planet.
Pray for:
- Workers for these “ends of the earth” tribes of the Amazon.
- Protection and enabling for the new team members as they settle and start learning their first language. They have committed to learn 2 languages. Initially this will require 40 hrs per week in Spanish language and culture acquisition including class time.
