Reaching unreached peoples is not simply about geography.
When the Lord Jesus commissioned his followers to “make disciples of all nations” (Matt 28:19), he was referring to ethne (i.e. ethnic groups). He was not referring to the 200 or so geopolitical entities we consider nations today. Jesus was lovingly commanding his followers to make disciples among ALL ethnic groups of the world, not just among the Israelites. God aims to be known, enjoyed, feared, and worshiped by them all (Ps 67; Rev 7:9).
Ask the Lord to help you examine your own heart, and those of the people in your church… is he calling you to prioritise a particular ethne for the sake of their salvation?
