According to Joshua project, 91% of the population of the Philippines identify as Christian. Driving through Manila this finds expression with neon signs and billboards acknowledging Jesus. Scratching the surface of this belief unveils faith heavily influence by Catholic dogma and little understanding of what a personal faith in Jesus means. Pray for our those serving in the Philippines that they can help Filipinos and other people groups to see the personal invitation of Jesus for relationship with the God of grace and mercy who knows each of us personally.
