India
Thank you, Father, for the diverse and vibrant peoples of India. Thank you for their religious devotion and serious consideration of eternity. We ask that you call many by name, and turn their faces towards Jesus, the only Lord and saviour, the only one worthy of praise and adoration. We pray for those who are experiencing oppression because of their caste, ethnicity, poverty, health, gender or their religion. Jesus, you came to “release the oppressed” and so we ask you, Jesus, to bring help to those in need; freedom to those who are captive through injustice and healing for the sick. We also ask, Jesus, that you would show those who feel devalued that you highly value them, in fact they are so precious to you that you laid down your life for them. We pray that you would be glorified in India. Amen.
