North Korea
North Korea has been the place most intolerant Jesus followers for many years. People face the severest of consequences if their faith is discovered. The penalty is a sentence of death or believers are also sent to labour camps with their entire family. For those who may escape they’re often hunted down by secret agents, abducted and returned to North Korea.
Pray:
For believers that are imprisoned – that they will know God’s presence, that they will have courage and not lose heart and that they will persevere in the most difficult and dangerous circumstances.
For believers to have opportunities, despite the risk in shining as beacons for the gospel in this dark place.
Give thanks there are opportunities for Aussies and other believing foreigners to go, be present and be a testimony to God’s generous goodness and love.
