This is a Tax Deductible OARF project At Sunflower Ministries it is our privilege to serve children with disabilities and their families in Northern Uganda through a deeply relational and holistic approach that seeks to help restore dignity and empower these precious children. Each Sunflower child and their families are first encouraged to better understand the specific needs and future goals of their child. Through collaboration and regular village visits our team then works alongside our Sunflower children and their communities to empower them to meet these needs in an inclusive and dignifying way. Our wonderful team members are specialised in the areas of special education, medical support, hospital advocacy, counselling and community education. Impact: Through the work of our Sunflower team the caregivers of children with a disability are empowered to care for their children with renewed strength, professional wisdom and loving support.
