This is a Tax Deductible OARF project ‘The Disabilities, Family Assistance’ project reaches families in remote Central Asia and trains health professionals to treat, teach and care for children with disabilities. We strategically partner with government bodies and local churches to enhance our impact through targeting both systematic change and immediate support. Impact: The immediate impact is with parents who receive vital assistance in managing disabled children, through both practical and emotional support strategies to help them cope and improve child development. Further impact occurs at University level through implementing worlds best standards of evidence based rehabilitation interventions.
